Sleepy Ada is a UK studio, formed by two gamers who wanted to make games - a tale as old as gaming itself. Driven by neither money nor fame, Sleepy Ada aims to explore what 2D gaming has left to offer. We do it for our love of pixel art and the 2D realm.

History

Gary & Lawrence have been making things together since the 90's, usually related to gaming. During lockdown, they finally realised their dream of making their own games - beginning with a few Ludum Dare game jam entries. Drawing on their shared passion for 2D pixel art and games of the 8-bit and 16-bit eras, it wasn't too long before they decided to pull out all the stops for a full commercial release. Sleepy Ada's first full game, Loop Frogs, was released on August 2nd 2024. Sleepy Ada's next twelve projects are already in the works...
